About Us
We are a group of specialist Anaesthetists, caring for patients in various public and private hospitals across New South Wales.
Our office and secretarial staff are in Castle Hill, in Northwest Sydney.
We specialise in Anaesthesia for all types of surgical and medical procedures, pain management including emergencies and resuscitation. We also provide epidural analgesia in labour, for pregnant patients in the delivery suite. If your condition or type of surgery is complex, your Anaesthetist may wish to have a Consultation with you prior to the surgical admission. Otherwise the Pre Anaesthesia Consultation usually takes place in the hospital on the day of the operation.

Dr. Anthony McGirr

Background
Dr Anthony McGirr graduated Medicine at the University of Sydney and obtained his Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists in 2001. Dr McGirr has worked at Westmead Hospital as a staff specialist and now works at private hospitals in the Sydney area. He teaches medical students and Anaesthesia Trainees at Macquarie University Hospital and Westmead Private Hospital.
Dr. Mark Lovell

Background
Dr Mark Lovell graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1989. He trained at Westmead Public Hospital. He is currently a staff specialist at Westmead Public Hospital and has a private appointment at Lakeview Private Hospital. Dr Lovell has a special interest in ophthalmic anaesthesia.

Dr Lisa De Gabriele completed her anaesthetic training in 2001. She trained at Westmead Public Hospital and The Children’s Hospital Westmead. Dr De Gabriele works at Westmead Public Hospital, Norwest Private Hospital, Westmead Private Hospital and Lakeview Private Hospital. She specialises in ENT, Orthopaedic and Breast anaesthesia.
Dr. David Elliott

Dr David Elliott is an anaesthetist with appointments at several private hospitals in Sydney and the Southern Highlands; including Lakeview Private, Westmead Private, Hunters Hill Private, Southern Highlands Private and Bowral District Hospital. David has a particular interest in high-risk obstetric medicine and anaesthetics. He is a faculty member at the Sydney Medical Simulation Centre, involved with the obstetric anaesthetic simulation program.
David’s non-clinical roles include Chair of the New South Wales Anaesthetic Continuing Education Committee, Federal Scientific Officer of the Australian Society of Anaesthetists and Chair of Anaesthesia Continuing Education.
